Done Deal: Llorente leaves Leeds

 

Leeds United have confirmed that their centre-back Diego Llorente has left the club to join Roma on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old Spanish defender arrived at Elland Road for £18m in 2020, and has gone on to make 51 appearances in the Premier League.

However, he has since fallen down the pecking order under Jesse Marsch, finding himself behind the likes of captain Liam Cooper, Robin Koch and new signing Max Wobe.
