Leicester City are close to completing a £15million deal plus add-ons for Stoke City centre-half Harry Souttar, according to Graeme Bryce.
The 24-year-old Australian World Cup star is set for a Foxes club medical ahead of signing a long-term deal.
Brendan Rodgers made Souttar his main signing priority in this window as he looks to bolster his fragile defence.
Souttar has missed the last two Stoke games with a minor hip injury, but should be fit enough to make his potential City debut against Aston Villa at the weekend.
Souttar would become Rodgers' third January addition after completing deals to bring in Danish left-back Victor Kristiansen and right-winger Tete, Shakhtar Donetsk's right winger, who had been on loan at Lyon.
